Twum Opoku Obed (Nana K. Twum) is a startup engineer, strategic business analyst, and accomplished professional with over five years of experience at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, where he serves as a facilitator and administrator of UEICt. Beyond his academic role, he stands as an emerging business magnate, seasoned IT professional, business development expert, corporate trainer, life coach, and author. He is the visionary founder of Naktech Group, encompassing Traingh Ltd., Purpose Publications, Interns Connect, Norizona Ltd., Nakfarm, Kiayayo Ltd., and Nakniva Prime.

A motivational speaker and award-winning entrepreneur, Twum Opoku Obed is a serial entrepreneur from Ghana with a significant background in startup engineering. His military foundation from the Army Recruitment Training School (ARTS) Shai Hills, gained during the KIC Agritech Challenge, reflects a well-cultured, disciplined, and results-oriented approach in both his personal and professional life. His passion revolves around establishing sustainable businesses in Africa, contributing to job creation, and guiding individuals to identify their passion and purpose.

As a self-taught IT expert, Twum Opoku Obed pursued a degree in BSc. Banking and Finance at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. and an MSc. Information Technology at the Technische Universität Berlin, Germany.

Commencing his entrepreneurial journey in 2015 amid financial challenges, Twum Opoku Obed demonstrated resilience by teaching himself programming, mastering the Microsoft Office suite, graphic design, video editing, and architectural design using a faulty mini-laptop. He gained professional experience through engagements with Traingh Ltd. and various organizations.

Twum Opoku Obed is the facilitator of Traingh, having trained over 15,000 students and government workers in IT and more than 940 individuals in vocational skills. Additionally, he founded Interns Connect, a business that has successfully placed over 18,400 tertiary students in internships, National Service Scheme roles, and job opportunities. As the founder of Eminert Prime, a prominent business startup consulting firm in Ghana, Twum Opoku Obed has provided consultancy services for numerous clients.

Renowned as a renewable energy expert, Twum Opoku Obed specializes in converting agro-waste into briquettes and activated carbon. Presently, he serves as the Chairman of Naktech Group, the facilitator and administrator of the UPSA Enterprise and Innovation Center, Managing Director of the Business Incubator Center (BIC) at the University of Professional Studies Accra, Deputy Patron to the Ministry of Business Development Students Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI), and Secretary and IT Officer to the Center for Climate, Law, and Policy at the University of Professional Studies Accra (CCLAP). Additionally, he holds the role of administrator at Realtech Consult.

Beyond his multifaceted roles, Twum Opoku Obed is an author, dedicated to educating and inspiring students to build a career beyond the classroom and bridge the gap between what schools teach and what is required in the job market.
