NSS Acceleration Program
The UPSA Enterprise and Innovation Centre Venture Lab Business Support is an annual training program in collaboration with the National Service Secretariat (NSS) aimed at developing the interest and building graduates’ mindset from UPSA to spend their one year service period developing a business that will bring systemic change in Ghana regarding job creation and employability. In addition, it provides the personnel with the correct exposure to the business world and networking opportunities to build and grow viable solutions to Ghana’s critical graduate unemployment.

GUIDELINES
a. You must be a UPSA student
b. You must be in level 400
c. You must have a good business idea
d. You must be doing your service 2023/ 2024
e. You must have undertaken entrepreneurship development in Level 300 or Diploma Level 200
You will have the luxury of time to develop your own business without any interference, as you will receive the necessary support to achieve a good milestone.
You receive training, mentorship and supervision on developing your business ideas.
Monthly allowance
Industrial experience
Yes, you will be receiving a monthly allowance and other incentives
National Service Certificate from the National service secretariat and also a Business Certificate from the University Of Professional Studies Accra
Yes, you will have three weeks to one month of fieldwork every quarter
You will use your one year service period to work on your own business. That is, working for yourself and doing your service simultaneously.
At the end of the program, we will graduate you alongside the graduating batch of the 2023/2024 academic year students.
No, there will be no accommodation.
There is a serene co-working space with air-conditioning and a 24/7 internet connection.
No fees for registration. The whole application is free
