UPSA BUSINESS INCUBATOR CENTRE SHORTLISTS TWO FINALISTS FOR 2021 FOWLER GLOBAL SOCIAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE
Two student entrepreneurial groups from the UPSA Incubator Centre were shortlisted for the 2021 Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge (GSIC).
the panel of judges at the final pitch session held on a Friday, 7th of May 2021.

On the 7th of May, The Business Incubator Centre of University of Professional Studies Accra, shortlisted two student entrepreneurial groups for the 2021 Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge (GSIC), to represent the school at the Global contest in June this year.
The two finalists- BolaMall and Golden Bio were selected out of 20 business groups that appeared before the panel of judges on the pitch day on the 7th of May, 2021.Coordinator of the Impact Entrepreneurship program of UPSA, Dr. Ayiku commended the student entrepreneurs for their innovative ideas that will help solve the critical challenges the world is facing.
The Fowler Global Social Innovation Challenge invites teams to engage in one or more of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students are to address any social or environmental problem that aligns with at least on of the Global Goals.
The program was organized by the University of San Diego and University of St. Thomas in partnership with UPSA and other 27 participating universities.
